PRIVACY POLICY

Last Updated: June 15, 2015

Thank you for using ScreenOutTM (the "Extension"). The Extension is owned and licensed to you by Pinch of Awesome, LP ("we", "us" or "our"), and is available for you for free. Downloading and installing the Extension may result in the display of various types of third party content, such as advertisements, which is how we are able to make the Extension available for free. As you use the Extension, we want you to be clear how we're collecting and using your information and the ways in which you can protect your privacy.

This Privacy Policy only applies to information collected through the Extension. It does not apply to the information practices of any software or applications downloaded or marketed by third parties along with the Extension, or that of any third party websites that the Extension is utilized on. Specifically, our Privacy Policy explains:

Your privacy matters to us, so if you have any questions please contact us.

We've tried to keep it as simple as possible, and to explain key terms whenever possible. For the sake of simplicity, this Privacy Policy covers all information collected by the Extension and treats it as information to which either our service providers or we may have access, even though in many cases such access may be extremely limited.

When we use the word "collect" throughout this Privacy Policy, we're referring to the Extension's transmission of information to us or our service providers or its storage of information for later use or transmission. "Collect" does not refer to the Extension's mere processing of information on your computer.

1. What Information Do We Collect?

When the Extension communicates with our servers, we collect various types of non-personally identifying information. Specifically, we may collect certain web log information, which is analytics information that is automatically logged or recorded by our or our service providers' servers when you use the Extension. Web log information typically include your web request (i.e., the web domain you are trying to access) and the date and time of your request, which may allow us to determine in which state, city and country you are located (but not your precise geographic location). Web log information also includes information about your browser and device, URL data, video players being used, and your IP address. We also track the installations, uninstallations, daily usage, and total usage of the Extension. We also collect information about the Extension, such as its type and version, what date it was installed, whether it was active on a particular day, or how it was originally distributed to you.

2. Personal Information

We do NOT knowingly collect personally identifiable information through the Extension. Personally identifiable information means information that can be used to identify an individual, such as your name, personal or business address, email address, phone number and other contact information, social security number, driver's license (or other government-issued identification) number, credit/debit card information, or other financial account information. However, it is possible that, in very limited and rare circumstances, personally identifiable information could be collected incidentally and without our knowledge (for example, the Extension may collect the URLs of the websites you visit, and so if a URL you visit includes the name of an individual, this name would be collected by us).

3. Automatic Information Gathering Technologies

The Extension collects web log and technical information and periodically communicates that information to our servers. The Extension may also collect information regarding your interactions with advertisements and other content displayed through the Extension. We retain that information as well as aggregate data and reports for our records and to improve our product and services.

4. Partnership Supported Features of the Extension

As mentioned above, the Extension is supported by advertising and by our partnerships with content providers, advertisers, and various websites. When you install and use the Extension, we may show you additional content that is unaffiliated with the website or video content you originally accessed. For example, the Extension may display our third-party partners' content, offers, video targets ads, displays ads, or other types of interactive content when you utilize the Extension to view videos and other webpages in a newly created window.

5. How Do We Use the Information We Collect?

We use information that we collect for our internal product improvement, or, in certain cases, to determine whether a user has previously downloaded a version of our Extension. We also use that information, including web log information, to determine which types of advertisements and other third-party partner content to display and which particular ads to show you, to deliver the ads and manage the ad delivery process, and to determine compensation under our arrangements with our partners and other companies. We may take collected data and process it into segments or categories; only those segments or categories (along with a unique identifier) will be shared with non-partner third parties ("Profile Data").

We may also use some of the web log information we collect, including what we refer to as system and zone identifiers, to help us get a better understanding of our overall user base (for example, to determine how many of our users use Internet Explorer, how many are Mac users, etc.) and the web domains they access, as well as how many active users of the Extension there are on a given date. We may also use this information for other internal purposes, such as to help us diagnose problems, to perform research, reporting and analysis aimed at improving our Extension and other technologies, to manage our systems, and to evaluate the performance of our relationships with other companies.

We are always looking for ways to improve our products. To that end, we periodically collect and analyze how you interact with our Extension and the websites you visit, such as interactions with our Extension features. Web log information, including your IP address and URL data, may also be collected and stored by our service providers.

You should be aware that when you click on ads displayed through the Extension or submit information to an advertiser or other third-party marketer, that third party may also collect your information for advertising or other uses. Some of our advertisers may themselves utilize cookies or other automatic information gathering technologies when you interact with their ads, which are not covered by this Privacy Policy.

6. Disclosure of Your Information

We disclose information we collect about you to third parties (including without limitation our corporate affiliates, content providers, partners who bundle and distribute the Extension), or to service providers engaged to perform other functions on our behalf (such as providing data storage, hosting, content distribution, marketing of our Extension, auditing, and web analytics) as reasonably necessary to display our various types of advertising, to track the performance of our relationships with these third parties, and to determine compensation and manage our respective business relationships. We may also share web log information with third-party partners so that they can target ads to you based on the domains or content you access through the Extension. Since we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information, we do not share it with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

We may also disclose your information, anonymously aggregated with information about other users of our products and services, to our clients, business partners, merchants, investors, potential buyers and other third parties if we deem such disclosure, in our sole discretion, to have sound business reasons or justifications.

Finally, we may disclose your information to third parties when we believe, in good faith and in our sole discretion, that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (a) enforce or apply the end-user license or other terms and conditions for the Extension, including investigation of any potential violations; (b) comply with legal or regulatory requirements or a governmental request; (c) protect the rights, property or safety of us, our users or other third parties; (d) prevent a crime or protect national security; or (e) detect, prevent or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues.

Finally, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, or in the unlikely event of a bankruptcy, liquidation or receivership of our business, we will provide affected users notice through the Extension or other means at least thirty (30) days before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

7. Accessing Your Information; Transparency and Choice

People have different privacy concerns. Our goal is to be clear about what information we collect so that you can make meaningful choices about how it is used.

As mentioned above, we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information. Since we do not collect personally identifying information (such as your full name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, or credit card number) ("PII"), we do not maintain a process for an individual to review and/or request changes to his or her PII. However, if you believe that we have inadvertently collected any personal information about you, please contact us and we will try to locate and delete this information. We may ask you to identify yourself and the information requested to be accessed or deleted before processing such requests, and we may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backups), or for which access is not otherwise required. In any case, where we provide information access and deletion, we will perform this service free of charge, except if doing so would require a disproportionate effort.

If you would like to stop all data collection through the Extension in Chrome, you can uninstall it by following these instructions:

Click the Chrome menu icon in the top-right corner of the browser toolbar;

Select More tools > Extensions; and

Select the trashcan icon next to the ScreenOut Extension you want to delete.

8. Third Party Sites, Content, and Applications

Please note that while using the Extension you will be able to view webpages, videos, or other content provided through third party websites. For example, when you click on the Extension icon on a video website, the Extension will open a separate window to display the video, which is not owned or controlled by us. As another example, the Extension may show you various content from our partners, and when you click on a link or other content displayed through the Extension, you are taken to a webpage that is now owned or controlled by us. Also, third parties who bundle our Extension with their own or other third party software applications may collect end-user data through separately installed applications and not through the Extension. We are not responsible or liable for the privacy policies, practices or the content of websites, web pages, or applications owned by others, and their collection of information from you is not governed by this Privacy Policy. Accordingly, we encourage you to review the privacy policies and terms of service of those sites and applications when you visit them and before installing any applications so that you understand how they collect, use and share your information.

9. International Users

By installing and using the Extension and providing us with your information, you acknowledge and agree that due to the international dimension of the Extension we may use the data collected in the course of our relationship for the purposes identified in this Privacy Policy, including the transmission of information outside your resident jurisdiction. In addition, please understand that such information may be stored on servers located in the United States. The data protection and privacy laws of the United States and other countries might not be as comprehensive as those in your country. By installing and using the Extension, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States, and you further agree that all transactions relating to the Extension or our website shall be deemed to have occurred in the United States.

10. Children

The Extension is not intended for users under 18 years of age. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under the age of 18, we will delete that data from our systems.

11. Information Security

We utilize reasonable information security measures to safeguard your Information. For example, we utilize Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology when data is transmitted over the Internet, and have installed firewalls to help prevent external access into our network. Unfortunately, however, no data transmission over the Internet and no method of data storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its security.

12. Changes to this Policy

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not materially reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without notice to you. We will post any privacy policy changes on www.pinchofawesome.com/ or notify you about them through the Extension and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a prominent notice (such as an alert through the Extension). You can always check the "Last Updated" date at the top of our Privacy Policy to see when it was last changed, and we encourage you to check it at www.pinchofawesome.com/screenout/privacy.html from time to time.
